Early Childhood Mental Health Services

Our in-home mental health and behavioral services provide comprehensive assessment and treatment for children from birth to age five to access their social and emotional health, and improve the parent-child relationship. Our strengths-based approach allows us to use home based therapeutic intervention with the goal of strengthening families to promote the emotional development of young children so they are better prepared to enter school. Call our office at (707) 422-0464 for details.

Special Needs Center

CNP's new Special Needs Center features a lending library of books, videos, DVD's adaptive toys, and other materials related to children’s health, development, mental health, and special needs. Internet access is available for search information on various special needs conditions. Our Special Needs Coordinator facilitates parent-child groups, socialization activities, and educational programs, bringing in speakers on topics of interest to parents and providers. CNP's multidisciplinary team of professional staff is available for consultation and resource and referral information to help families access the services their children are eligible for. It is our vision that the center will be a fun place for families to come, play, socialize, and learn new things to help their children develop to their optimal potential. Volunteers and donations are needed to support the center. Please contact us at our Missouri Street office at (707) 426-1300 for more information or to arrange a visit to the Special Needs Center, or contact Jessica Knutson at jknutson@cnpkids.org.
